Uploading non musescore file?

Hi! I was just wondering if it's possible to upload a pdf, .xml, or .mid file to Musescore instead of having to convert it to a Musescore file. On top of that, I've tried importing a .xml, .mid, and a PDF file to Musescore, but they're all fairly inaccurate. Is there a better way of doing this? Thanks!

.xml is the best way to transfer a score to MuseScore. There are different interpretations of location information in the xml file from one program to another, so you will get slightly different layouts. If you want to see the MuseScore default layout you can press ctrl+a then ctrl+r to reset (almost) everthing to the defaults. This is especially useful in version 3 since it will allow MuseScore to automatically layout the entire score. In version 2, it might be easier to adjust the imported layout, but it really depends on the source.

MuseScore files are the only ones that can be saved to musescore.com.
