How do i free move text?
No matter what kind of text i use in Musescore 3, i am unable to just free move it, it always snaps to somewhere. Am i able to turn off this snap feature?

It would be best if you explained what you were trying to do, because there is probably a better way.
If you really insist on dragging items around the screen you can remove the check from Automatic Placement in the inspector. That item will then be completely ignored for auto placement and may lead to you thinking you need to disable auto placement on something else so you can drag that also. Continuing to do this can get rather frustrating, so why not do it the best way first?

Indeed moving text is usually not something you should be doing much, instead it helps to use the right type of text for the job, whatever that job is. You can also press "X" to flip text between above/below the staff. Or, if you have some special requirements for placement of certain types of text, it is better to change the style settings to make that the default, and then there will be no further adjustments needed. But all that said, if you do still have occassional need to move some text in a way that autoplacement won't allow, disabling it for that specific element is the way to go.
