unable to remove rests
Trying to "write/enter as I go" on blank staff. Unfortunately, rests are populated by default. I have followed the steps to remove them so I can work from blank staff without success. Does Musescore allow a User to start from blank canvass? ie: blank staff workspace?

I have rt clicked > delete, edit element (where I get error msg)
Have sel Format > Style etc...
Have watched the vid tutorials and see the rests move out as he enters notes, but my entries fail to follow same as the tutorial demonstrates
It's possible to delete rests from voices 2-4 , but not from voice 1. For rests in voice 1 you can select they invisible inside the inspector. See: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/voices#delete-hide-rests.

thx Kuwitt. I opened a "new" score and started from scratch. My entries are functioning same as behavior in vid tutorial now. I have two work spaces open (for the same score). One is "scratch paper" where I figure out Musescore features and functions and the other is the actual score. My scratch paper doesn't perform as same in vid, hence my question. Thank you for the "how to" for Invisibility!
