No Playback

For the record, I'm using Musescore 3.0.5.5992 on Windows 10. And the playback had worked since using this version.
I'm working on my score, and no sound will play. While plugging in notes, I hear nothing. The playback buttons are greyed out.
I tried restarting Musescore. I restarted my computer. I disconnected my headphones. I reverted Musescore to factory settings. Nothing has worked.
Also, I was reading around, and in the View dropdown, Synthesizer is greyed out and I cannot click on it. Nothing had changed between playback working and not working. I didn't close the program.
