Annoying (Musescore 3) playback bugs

1) Tempo Modulations don't work, and
2) Randomly teleports to a new spot after modulation

Any way to fix these problems?
Background: These bugs started happening right after I added "Parts". I don't know if this is the cause or not, but the bug has been appearing in some of the other scores. It doesn't seem to affect some of my newest scores, but the ones I have spent much time on.

Note: I've noticed that Musescore 3 disregards any tempo markings and just plays at quarter = 120 when played too far from the start. And even if you play it from the start and get the correct tempo, it still disregards the metric modulation.
