Midi compatibility problem
Afternoon. I currently have an old midi keyboard and have found that it will not sync with any MuseScore software. I'm using windows. My midi keyboard is a Yamaha PSR - 220. Anyway to get a patch or will I have to go out and buy a new midi keyboard. Thanks

Be sure to connect and turn on the keyboard before starting MuseScore, be sure it appears in Edit / Preferences / I/O, and be sure you are in note input mode when trying to enter notes. It's also possible your keyboard fails to send note off messages; the clue would be you hear sound but nothing appears on screen unless you first enter a note another way and then notes you play on the keyboard get added to the first as a chord.
