wrong playback timing in 2/4

• May 4, 2019 - 02:26

Hi. In the attached score, the second part (Tanz der Zuckerfee) has a 2/4 rythm. At this part of the score the playback is quite out of line. It is almost like a heavy ritandando (if I'm not mistaken) - like a hickup :)
Checked everything in the app, but couldn't find any cause. Even made a audiofile, to make sure it's not a playback issue. So I asume it's a bug.
Could you please look in to it?
I made the score in Musescore 2.3, were it was completly fine.

I got the AppImage Vers 3.0.5, btw

I checked to see if the swing setting had been accidently enabled. It hadn't. The problem is the time onset of some notes of have been changed throughout the whole piece, but particularly in part 2. In Musescore, to change the offset back to zero, right click on a measure, select piano roll editor, and then "ontime" in the lower left drop-down menu to see which notes out of time, select the effected notes and enter zero in the upper right "ontime" box. I would start at the beginning of the piece. Unfortunately, the piano editor does not allow the ontime of multiple selected notes to be changed. You have to do one note at a time.

I tried exporting your score as a musicxml in Musescore 3 beta to remove the changed the note onset since Musescore's xml output doesn't appear to include that information. However, the score was corrupted when I tried to import the xml version back in "Fatal error: line 51123 column 24 Element direction-type is missing child element." which belongs to measure 116. This is likely a bug. I tried it with the official Musescore 3 version, same thing. If you still have a musescore 2 version of the score, try the same thing in Musescore 2.
