Inserting a time signature with a different length of beats from the main signature.
See below. I want to enter 1 bar of 5/4 into a 9/8 time signature. When I do the following notes are out of position.
Are there any work-arounds?

Using version 3? Select the extra rest in the measure and press ctrl+delete to get rid of it. You can then enter the 9/8 time signature again.

It actually works better if you enter the 9/8 where you want to continue the tie signature then enter the 5/4 signature and if there is an extra measure, select it and press ctrl+delete to get rid of it. This works in all versions.
