Crashing when editing an element
recently i have been experiencing musescore crashing every time or on a frequent occasion whenever trying to edit an element. i have tried this on 4 separate computers to make sure it wasn't an issue with my machine, both on mac and windows but experienced the same issue, wondering if there is a fix in the near future

whenever i right click on an element such as lyrics or chord symbols, and select edit element to change the text, it will more often than not freeze then close. adding lyrics in and chords using shortcuts works fine but in this way it crashes

On any score? Which version of MuseScore?

no score in particular, tried on 3 separate scores, on the newest version, 3.0.5

I've never had it crash on me that way. Then again I mostly go into edit mode via double-click rather then right-click > edit, maybe that is the difference?

Just tried it that way and it hasn't crashed yet, so looking good. I didn't know that was a thing you could do, thanks man.

I had it crash your way once, but not exactly sure what I clicked (but the layout looked garbled in the very moment, in the next it was gone, due to the crash) and couldn't not reproduce again
