8va for single notes?

In the following song (page 2)
I want the 8va to be on single eighth notes in the bass. the (1 - 3 beats)
I cant seem to find any workable system to make this happen.
Sometimes I can get the beam to calculate only one note, but most of time it won't no matter what I try.
Thanks for any help.
Lastly, what is the best way to support this SOFTWARE not the online site.
I want to mainly support the people creating this wonderful software product, not the people creating the online site....
