Part Not Deleting

I've been trying to learn a mallet part recently and I had to delete all other parts so I could have just my part playing. However, the last one will not delete. In the Instruments tab, it labels it as a B flat Trumpet, but on the actual page, the part is for Timpani. I'm fairly new to Musescore and any help is appreciated to delete this part. (I'm on Musescore 2.0 as I can't use 3.0 on my laptop)

  1. There's no need to delete other parts to be able to hear yours, that's what a) the mixer's solo button and b) linked parts are for.
  2. Without a score we can't help here
  3. I hope you're on MuseScore 2.3.2, not 2.0... if not: update!
  4. Being on a laptop by no means is a reason not being able to use MuseScore 3(.0.5), why do you think so?
