Scores Disappeared

I am extremely devastated. On Musesore 2.0 on my laptop, I had a few scores that I had been working on for over a year. Today I opened up the application to continue working on the scores when suddenly they weren't on the recent scores list as they usually are. Thinking this was a mistake, I opened up my files to look for the scores (which I had saved), finding nothing at all. My Musescore folder was completely empty and I am currently on the verge of crying. I see that under this description box it states, " A member of our support staff will respond as soon as possible." I hope this is true because I was expecting to finish the score within a week from today.
