Retaining formatting when copying and pasting.

Hi!
I am currently working on a project where I am notating jazz scales across 3 octaves. My plan has been to write them out starting in C, and then copy and paste, working with the transposition tool to cover the rest of the keys. To format it in an ideal way, I had to join measures, change measure lengths, and shrink spacing. When I copy it onto the "next page" after my page break, all of that disappears (as well as the titles). Is there a way in which I can copy and paste to retain all the formatting? Thank you!
