Enter the notes and the rest, select the rest and add "beam middle" from the beams palette.

Pretty much the same answer, you can just beam middle over the rest.
But if you prefer the single beam over the rest with the 16th subbeam only on the last note, use the "Beam 16th Sub" value instead.
