There is a file missing, and MuseScore will not open without it.

My computer is giving me an error, saying that MuseScore can't open because the "api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll" file is "missing from my computer." I am downloading the application off of this site, but I can't seem to open the program without that file. I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program, with no avail.
If someone could help me find a solution, that would be greatly appreciated.
