Changing note durations
Can you please tell me how to change a note duration. For example om 4/4 I have a number of bars that have crotchet, crotchet rest. crotchet crotchet rest. I would like to change them (preferably with a keyboard shortcut) to minim minim; or to split the bar in two and show semibreve semibreve in two bars. I could re-enter on a blank stave but I have lots of four and five note chords and would rather spend the time on instrument practice. Hope you can help.

So, you want to keep the rhythm the same but change the durations? Select the passage, press the "Notes" button in the Inspector to limit the selection to just the notes, then press "6".

Thanks Marc I wil give it a go when i have that computer booted up and ready to go.
