Bug - custom key signature not working
See attached images and music file - the custom key signature isn't applying to various notes, even when deleted and re-added

Custom key signatures indeed don't affect the score in any way, you will have to adjust accidentals etc manually. See #5819: add support for playback of custom key signature

That's not true though. When I dropped my key signatures onto the score a whole lot of flats did correctly disappear, so it does affect the score. Just not all the flats disappeared.

Weird, looks like somehow there is a bug in the bug :-). I don't see anywhere that this feature ever claimed to have been implemented, but you're right that it does seems to be working in this score. What happens at bar 14 is there is a change to C major. You can tell this must be happening somewhere because the key signature is gone on the next system. To delete it, first trick is to select it. Click the barline at the start of bar 14, then press Alt+Right. The status bar will show you that there is a C major key signature selected, which you can now remove by pressing Delete.
