Add a flag to control the start of arpeggio playback relative to chord time

• Aug 3, 2019 - 23:07

There are generally two styles for playing an arpeggio: with the first note in time or with the last note in time. Musescore implements only the first one. It would be interesting to have the option in the arpeggio inspector to select which type is wanted according to the situation. For instance, in the harp arpeggios usually end in time rather than the other way around, with the result that it sounds as if it were delayed.
This feature would add to the recent improvement to adjust the speed of the arpeggio, giving full control of arpeggio playback.
As a workaround one can edit the beginning of each note from the piano roll editor, but it requires painstaking manual adjustment.
