Where are the time icons to enter new notes? They've disappeared.

Yesterday, I could enter notes by pitch and time. Today, times are no longer an option. Musescore's composition screen is not showing choices for rests or beats. I can enter nothing but whole notes.

How do I return to the (useful) composition screen?

We updated Windows today. We also updated MuseScore. Has anyone had a problem after doing either of those?

Please help. I'd rather avoid having to cancel MuseScore.

You only need to post a question once.

To get your toolbars back, use the menu View->Toolbars and make sure all of the toolbars are checked.
