Cannot enter (capital) B chord even with automatic capital chords turned off
Musescore3, Windows 10. In any score, select note or rest, ctrl-K and type B to enter the B chord. Result: 0. If you type b and tab you get B. Any other chord you can enter as capital or lower case. With automatic capitals turned off typing B still gives 0.

You mean you are seeing an actual "0" appear after typing B in a chord symbol? My best guess is you are trying to use a font for your chord symbols that lacks this characters, or else you have a customized chord description XML file that is doing some strange substitution, or else your installation is corrupted. In order to do more than guess, we'd need you to attach the score you are having trouble with.

Are you sure you did not have it assigned as a shortcut to a plugin? These are not checked or listed in the shortcuts tab in preferences and has been know to cause issues like this in the past.

You are right, Mike!! I just installed the batch convert plugin yesterday and assigned BC as a shortcut. That solves the mystery! Many thanks for your help.
