default font size for fingering

• Aug 22, 2019 - 09:54

Is there a way to change the default size for fingering in Musescore 3? I can see where you could do it in V 2but that seems to have gone now. I have figured out how to change each number individually but it would be so much quicker if I could just enter it in a larger size to start with. Many thanks !

Where is it? Do you think it is so obvious for everybody?
And I have been taught at school that the question marks are to be put at the end of questions, not at the end of answers. Your "answer" sounds rather like a boasting: "And you don't know it?"

Well, it was not my question. Apart from the fact, that the OP's question seems obvious (at least to me) and I rather tend not to believe that you did not understand it, your answer could have been something like @worldwideweary and @Shoichi suggested, this would sound much more friendly.

  1. To open the Text Styles dialog, select Format→Style...→Text Styles and then select Fingering.

See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/layout-and-formatting#style

  1. When you select any object in the score window, its properties are automatically displayed in the Inspector where they can be edited. The Inspector appears by default on the right of your screen. If it is hidden, select View and check Inspector.

In the inspector you can make the value of a particular property the new default for the style by chosing Set as style
