PDF Export Resolution
Having changed the preference for Export PDF resolution from the default of 300 DPI, the actual resolution as evidenced by the resulting PDF's MediaBox declarations remains unchanged from 72 DPI. The 72 DPI is the actual resolution even when the preference setting is at the default 300 DPI setting.
Will the Pro version fix this? Or must I change something else? Or is this a bug, not a feature?
Thanks very much for any help.

There is no Pro version. And as the PDFs MuseScore generates are verctorized, the DPIs don't play any(?) role.

Oh. I thought the presence of the DPI option among the Musescore preferences was included to support that feature, at least some time in the future. In my experience, vector-based outputs in general are easily scaled. Perhaps there's a plan to implement the feature later. I hope so.

It may play a role for pixmap images embedded in scores
Hmm, where do you see the DPI settings in a score exported to PDF from MuseScore?

Yes, dumb of me to ask. Still plays only a role for pixmap images (PNG, jpeg) embeded in the score, the rest is Scalable vector graphics, no DPI
