Key signature
I am writing for Marching band. I am in the key of "C" . When I select a trumpet, I need its notation in "D" . I did it in Muse 2, but I can't get it to function in Muse 3. Any help?

Works the very same in MuseScore 3 and it did in MuseScore 2.
Trumpet usually is a transposing instrument (usually Trumptet in Bb, ineh a major second up), except for Trumpet in C.
Marching bands might work differently though, depending on their traditions and countries, IIRC some don't notate transposed?
Check the "Concert Pitch" button on the toolbar. If it's enabled, you'll see everything in the same key. Disable it to have the trumpets etc. transposed.
