Plain dotted line in the "Lines" menu

I don't see a plain dotted or dashed line in the Lines menu ( I have Musescore v3.2.3 ). Adding such a feature would be nice for marking the span of an Accelerando or other performance indications.

In the long term, you might create consider adding a set of drawing tools to add lines, boxes, ovals, or other shapes to the score.

Add the regular straight line
Use the inspector (F8) to change the line dash/dot type

If you use it often, consider adding it to a custom palette.

Still, it would be cool to have some basic shapes in the palette like a rectangle and a circle with the same dash/continuous abilities with fill/unfilled options. They'd help for annotation purposes without needing another phase of image/vector editing, and the Qt framework has these things ready for programmers' use... but then the MS file format would have to be updated to store some sort of graphic-shape element.

Then again, you can always use a staff text filled with spaces and having a circle/rectangle frame, edit its margin, and then make sure its stacking order is right if need be. That works for most cases. And then, add it back to a palette for later.
