Title Incorrect spacing of Roman Numeral Analysis before barline Request for option to prevent text crossing barlines
Severity S3 - Major S5 - Suggestion

This is currently by design, there is no special checking in MuseScore for any type of text except lyrics to avoid crossing barlines. So chord symbols, staff text, dynamics, etc - any of them can cross barlines. Someday it would be nice to have an option to force other types of text to add space as well.

Meanwhile if you want extra space you can select the barline and add leading space in the Inspector. I would say, though, that this is one reason this sort of text is not normally placed between staves - it would usually go below the bottom staff.
