how do i change the volume on different voice sections
how do i change the volume on different voice sections e.g. make soprano louder than the alto and tenor section?

If you use the closed score SATB template (ot the 'Women' instrument), add a staff text (e.g. "S/A", you can make it invisible too), change it's properties to have voice 1 (and 3) assigned to Soprano, voice 2 (and 4) to Alto, then in Mixer 'unfold' its track to see the channels, which you then can mute or solo or indepüendantly set their voume
