Latest update

I have just installed the MS 3 latest update and restarted my computer. On attempting to open Musescore I get the option "Restore previous session?" or not. Whichever option I choose, my MS homepage opens briefly, then closes completely. Any ideas? I've had to reach this forum via my old Musescore 2 shortcut. Thanks CA
