multiple notes play on midi input--new version of MS, Windows 10
I thought it was just my clunky fingers the first couple times, but they are not to blame. When I play a note on the midi keyboard, sometimes 2 separate notes will sound and be written into my score. When I go back and do it again, each time it is now played correctly. Weird new problem!

Could it be your keyboard is setup with layering, so portions of it are actually sending two notes on two different channels?

I doubt it. First of all, I have no idea what layering is, and second, it has never done this on previous versions.

Layering is a thing most keyboards can do, where you hit a button somewhere and it starts playing two sounds at once (eg, a piano sounds plus strings).
