How effective are enhanced practice tapes?

I attach a note about enhanced practice tapes and how to discover if they are worth the trouble of making them.

Sorry, for language difficulties (I don't speak English) I'm not sure I understand.
Could you get tape B with MuseScore by selecting the notes of the voice to be improved and increasing the speed with Inspector?

If you have the score entered into MuseScore, it's rather easy to make either tape. Some people create practice tapes of a third type that has one part missing so the singer practices it without the crutch of someone else singing their part.

Perhaps a little context is in order. Our director issues uniform practice tapes. I should like him to give enhanced practice tapes a trial to see whether people find them better than the uniform ones. Here better means that they allow the singer to learn the music faster.

In the Muse Score community we tend to assume that all scores are available in digital format but in the choirs I work with, this is a novel idea. So in suggesting we use enhanced practice tapes I am implicitly suggesting that we use digital scores.
