Arpeggio over 2 staffs triggers automatic change of staff size
I am trying to insert arpeggios into my partition as explained on:
https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/arpeggios-and-glissandi
As I need the arpeggios to span over 2 staffs, I insert them in 1 voice and then adjust their dimensions so they go over the 2 voices. The problem is, as soon as I save my document, the height of the staffs with the arpeggio is automatically being changed. The software seems to assume that the arpeggio belongs to only one staff and therefore the staff needs to be very high.
The problem doesn't happen every time (I successfully managed to save a few arpeggios, and since that they are stable), but most of the time. It doesn't matter whether I start the arpeggio in the upper or lower voice.
Can anyone help? Is there a solution or a workaround? I can't finish the partition as long as this happens.

You would need to attach the score itself for a possible better answer, but I would say you probably need to disable autoplacement for the arpeggio. Select it and press =

This worked like a charm. Thank you so much!
