[ANSWERED] I do not know how to fix this.

Fixed: All I had to do is uninstall the program and reinstall it.

I created a MuseScore account and downloaded the software.

It asks me whether or not I want to restore my last session because I did not save it (even though I did not work on anything at all).

All three options have the same outcome: the program just quits. (Yes, No, Cancel Out). This screen below pops up (notice the white box by the different menus).

Yesterday or the day before that, I tried again and Muse Score had a new update. I updated the program and restarted my computer. Musescore still doesn't work.

Any advice?

Yes, I had meant the small white box. I didn't know if it was indicative of an error.
I was unable to get to the help section because when I'd click it, Musescore would close down.
So I uninstalled the program, restarted my computer, and installed it again.
Everything is working fine now.

Now what I need to figure out is how to tap out the notes for it to come out the way I want to. I get the pitches right but not the rhythm; on-the-onscreen keyboard works but it's coming out in all quarter notes. But I'm just going to read about it one of the guides.
