Playback commands don't light up
I click on a note in a composition but the Playback commands don't light up. I cannot get the composition to play.

OK, so if yes to above...
What OS (operating system)? What version of MuseScore?
What does the I/O tab show in menu item: Edit -> Preferences?
Have you tried clicking the 'Restart Audio and MIDI Devices' button on that same tab?
Re-boot your computer?
What 's your hardware configuration:
Laptop speakers? Bluetooth headphones? Are you using an aftermarket soundcard or the built-in (motherboard) sound?
