I was composing a Christmas carol, on one of those occasions when you play the score it happened, it doesn't let me hear clearly what I do. It happened suddenly and without specific steps.

Do you mean some cracking sounds when there're too many notes or instruments playing?

I discovered that it only happens when I use headphones, I think it will be a bug about it, a while ago I exhaled a little because I wanted to continue, sorry for the inconvenience.
The problem slows the playback and makes it distort

I have similar problem on Linux sometimes. Using PulseAudio. (I always use headphones, I don't know if it would be better without)
Usually I stop playback, start again and it is OK the second time. Sometimes it keeps the distortion and the echo. (No other programs do that, and I use many.)
