MIDI Shortcut Errors

I am using an MPK Mini mk2 as a midi input device, but when I try to play notes that are in a low range (Bb1-Eb2), the notes are not played and instead the keys trigger shortcuts like an augmentation dot, change in note length, or raise/lower the previous pitch by a semitone. Is there a way to remap these or turn them off to prevent it from happening in the future?
