How to make drums sound more natural?
I'm trying to make my drums sound like this:

But they sound really robotic by default. Any articulations/other things I can put on them to make them slur together more, without using an actual slur? (Because that just combines the notes)

Accents, dynamic markings, and especially reverb are you friends. That link was produced by a DAW with expensive sound sets. You're working with free notation software. No notation software is made to produce professional quality sound files. But it's fun to try.
