Don't know this is and how to implement it into Musescore
I am trying to input something like this where there are different note values on the same bar or on top of each other such as semiquavers on top of quarter notes. But i don't know what it's called, how to do it or if it is even possible to do it in MuseScore.

You can do this using 2 voices. Input the upper notes using voice 1 (the default voice), switch to voice 2 by clicking "2" on the right of toolbar, and input the lower notes.
