changing part name

After I change a part name with "File-->Parts..." and click okay, the part's new name doesn't immediately appear in the parts tabs, until after I exit MuseScore and restart, then I see the part new name. Is this working as designed, or am I missing something? I would expect the part's new name to immediately appear in the parts tabs.
