Is there a way to"back out" an update?
i did an update to the latest version (".9660") today, and now MuseScore is behaving badly. The palettes no longer work. I'm not sure what else is "broken". Is there a way to revert to the previous version, which worked well? This isn't just "idle curiosity", as I am re-scoring a hymnal for my Church, in both English and Koine (Polytonic) Greek (not Modern Greek). I've tried several scores which were created/editted under the old version. They all worked perfectly under the old version, but now have similar problems. Perhaps I should try an "Uninstall" and "Reinstall"? I'm perplexed!

Yes, an uninstall followed by a reinstall of the previous version should work.
When time permits, please update again and post a detailed description of exactly what's wrong with the new version, including any steps needed to reproduce the problem. It will help the developers get things working for you and others who might run into the same problem.
FWIW, it's expected the palette work different - more efficiently - in the current version. Single-click is all you need to add an element to your score, no more need to double-click. Is that what you mean? If not, please describe in more detail what you mean by "no longer work".

Okay - I believe that I have figured out my issue. It appears that the new palette panel extends down to the bottom of the selection list, unlike the previous installation. I shortened the new palette and now it scrolls the way that the old one did.
Thanks!
