MuseScore-3.4.2-x86_64.AppImage
When I start the program, this image appears on the
screen, then nothing more happens. The image can't
be moved, and clicking the buttons has no effect at all.
I'm currently using Linux Mint 19.3 on a PC with Intel I7
processor.
Is there anything that can be done?

Yes it did!
And not only that -- the next time I start everything seems to be normal!
Now I'm excited to see if some of the minor annoyances with 3.2.3 have
been fixed! :)

This does mean it won't send telemetry data. If you're OK with send these, you can still change this in Preferences > General
