Comments

Translation:
Our English-speaking friends cannot easily use the plugin because it has not yet been translated.
PS: if you need help on this, I can help you by researching specific vocabulary by the end of the month.

To the author of the plugin:
See what other plugins do for getting translated, like e.g. Batch Export or Tempo Changes.
Also you'd then need to distribute a ZIP file (contating the plugin and the 'compiled' translations), not only the qml one, probably best done by moving the entire project to GitHub, again see the above mentioned plugins for examples

What is "sqTranslate"? You are using qsTr("string") already, so the infrastructure seems to be in place.
For texts that appear in MuseScore itself (but only those), you can 'borow' their translations by using qsTranslate("original english string in MuseScore", "MuseScore context").

For lupdate, lrelease and QtLinguist you'd need to install Qt

Not so easy to install Qt from source file on MacOS, I need to install first a lot of development utilities. I'm looking for a compiled version of Qt.
