Regarding Score Downloads as a Pro Feature
I received an email today (and you probably did too) from MuseScore, saying how score downloads are moving to Pro, as detailed here: https://musescore.com/download-terms
I personally make, play, and arrange music for fun. I uploaded my scores to MuseScore because of the free score sharing. Clearly, if MuseScore wishes to make downloading scores a paid feature, I'll just have to host my scores somewhere else. I will still use MuseScore, and upload them to here, but I will include an alternate method for people to download my scores.
I urge others to do the same. I use MuseScore as a reference for, and as a central place to share my music. It has been, and should always be, free and open.

By the way, got the same mail also this day.
This has been announced on July 14th 2019 already, but so far affected only new accounts, created after that date. Now finally also those created before.
