Octave Notes

Hi everybody!
I've been working on Musescore 3 since the start of February and I've got the hang of how things work. I just have one question to help me make my scores a better:
If I have an octave of notes (e.g. an e on top of an e), how do I get the bottom/top octave to play by itself?
