Unwanted rests
Having converted some arrangements from MuseScore 2 to MuseScore 3, I find that the Voiceparts are littered with unwanted rests which I can't delete. I have right clicked and selected similar, but I still can't remove or make invisible with Inspector. Help please.

Try using Tools/Voices/ exchange https://musescore.org/en/handbook/voices#exchange-voices
I don't think there should be any extra rests in MuseScire 3 that weren't there in MuseScore 2, but if you provide such a MuseScore 2 score, we can check.
Most likely you used 'voices' wrongly (but then should have had the same issue in MuseScore 2 already), see Shoichi's links above
