Raise max page width/length

• Apr 5, 2020 - 20:51

I need to export (SVG) a sheet as a single, very long staff. The only way I found to do this is to raise page width before exporting. However, it seems it is limited to 2000mm, which isn't enough for what I'm trying to do. I've tried to raise both pageWidth and pagePrintableWidth in the file, but it leads to a corrupt svg file, and in a png export, the last part of the page being white, with the score cut in the middle. I would like to avoid lowering staff size, since I would have to redo all the formatting. Is there any way to do this?

How big is your paper?
2000mm is 6.56 ft.

To make larger...
Instead of mm, try changing to inches.
For example, if you enter 200 in. you'll get a 16.7 ft. wide page, which is 5,080mm wide.

Okay, this seems to push my problem back quite a bit (and probably enough for what I'm doing). I'm not printing it: I'm re-using it as graphics, thus the ideal case would be an arbitrarily large size. Why is this limited, anyways? Since you can get much bigger sizes in inches, it doesn't seem to be a technical limitation of some sort.
