Measure style and rests
When creating my own style template, I could not find a way to set a style for rest offsets. I would like a little more distance from the measure line to a leading rest, but it looks like I can only set this one rest at a time. Default offsets for clefs, time signatures, notes, etc. can all be set under the measure styles setting. I've even tried selecting all like items to adjust them all at the same time, but then I get undesirable space between consecutive rests.

You mean you want different spacing for barline to a leading rest than you would have from barline to a note? How would that work in the presence of multiple staves? Nortmally the distance from the barline to the first note or rest should be the same so they align, so both notes and rests obey the "Note left marign" setting.

Ah, my mistake. I had adjusted the note left margin in a bit, and didn't notice it affected rests as well. I took "note margin" too literally! Thanks for all your help.
