Add voices later in the score

Hello. I'm trying to work out how to add voices as the score develops. I'm writing a round. It starts with the soprano voice, four bars later the alto comes in, another four the tenor and another four the bass. I don't want to show a load of empty bars so how do I work it that I just have the soprano line, then add the alto and so on with the other parts?
