Backspace for delete

I'm sure that this has been suggested before but would it be possible to add backspace as a way to delete instead of "del". Using the "del" button isn't exactly an issue but making the backspace perform the same function doesn't exactly seem a bad idea. For reference I am completely new here and the reason I ask is that I came from flat.io where you use the backspace to delete so I spent a couple minutes in confusion wondering how to delete notes :D so it may just be that slight bit more friendly for other beginners if the backspace was also made a shortcut for deleting notes

Both are possible already, Ctrl+Backspace is at least does the same as Ctrl+Del
You can add Backspace to the shortcut that currently is Del only, but you'd need to delete shortut that is currently using Backspace

Shortcuts are defined in Edit / Preferences / Shortcuts. If you try to define backspace to be the Delete command, you'll find out what it is currently mapped to, if anything (answer differs according to OS and keyboard layout).

I do this on my Chromebook, FWIW, which like most Macs has no true delete key, but the default shortcuts don't recognize that like they do for Mac, because I'm actually running a Linux version of MuseScore.

FWIW, in note input mode, backspace functions like Undo, so it shoudl also work to delete notes while in note input mode, assuming you press backspace right after entering the note while still in note input mode.
