Muscscore 3.4.2.9788 Hangs/Ceases To respond When Trying To Work With Pallets

i seem to be having a problem with Musescore on my laptop running Windows 7.

Basically, it seems to hang and freeze up whenever I try to open or add in the pallets via View in the top bar. If it somehow does load in, the rest of the features work fine but as soon as I try to use anything in the pallet (line breaks in my specific case) the program freezes up and I have to hard shut it down. It has made projects that should only take 20 minutes or so take up to an hour or more. I've even had to switch to a relative's Windows 10 laptop due to a deadline because the program was just wasting so much of my time on my Laptop.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Sounds like your workspace has become corrupted somehow. A few things you can try:

  • Try View / Workspaces / Reset
  • Try switching to a different workspace, from that same menu
  • Try Help / Revert to Factory Settings
