Trouble with Installation and initial opening of MuseScore 3.4.2

I have tried to download MuseScore on Mac twice today and both times received the following message:

"“MuseScore 3” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.
This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information.

Safari downloaded this file today at 12:50 PM from cdn.jsdelivr.net."

Please let me know if there's something else I should try.
