Unable to Send Private Messages
I just want to clarify that this is the first time I've tried to send a private message and that my inbox is currently empty.
Upon visiting any profile in question and clicking on the message icon (next to the follow icon), I get redirected to my empty inbox where it says:
"You have no messages yet
To send a message, click in the message icon on a user's profile:"
and there's a picture showing me how to send private messages by clicking on the message icon on a user's profile.
I've tried in both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge but the issue is still the same.
Am I doing something wrong? Is everyone else experiencing this issue?

This site (.org) doesn't have private messages, but contact forms.
So you're likely talking about that other site (.com) which has such a system, and as you by now should note is working out just fine for me using a Chromium-based browser.
